An Elven Coven

Elwyn held Aubrie close to him. Their light colored hair blended into a flaxen color where it met. The two waited for the arrival of the rest of their coven. Noll and Siofra had been out scouting and should be back soon. Vena had been out relaxing. Elwyn leaned his head closer to Aubrie's and kissed her above the ear as he whispered, "We need more time alone like this."
Aubrie heard the seductive tone his whisper carried. She turned into him. "Yes we do."
Then, Noll and Siofra entered the small cottage that made up Elwyn and Aubrie's home. They smiled at the two in front of them. Then, Vena also entered. She, though, shook her head. She was not for the romance her best friend was headed for.
"So," Noll said," We have good news--"
"There seems to be no intruders on our land thus far," Siofra cut in.
"Good," Elwyn said wishing that the others had took longer to arrive.

Kriana and Miyako stood on a tree branch and watched a few elves going into a hut....why were they all going in there? oh well it doesn't matter, they must all be from a coven. The two stayed in the tree though just incase...

Gabriel sighed softly and sat down, leaning on a tree, he was just outside a coven's territory so they wouldn't be allowed to do anything to him.
Jaque walked up to Gabriel"you right Gabriel?"he asked"you don't look too crash hot"
"i'll be fine"Gabriel replied quickly

Kain yawned as he walked around randomly, not knowing what he should do and where he should go.

"Is there anything more you need from us, other than our report," Siofra asked Elwyn.
Elwyn smiled, "No, you all may be on your way to continue scouting." He looked down at Aubrie.
"Okay," Vena said ready to leave the couple alone.

Noll, Siofra, and Vena left the hut.
"We should ALL split up this time," Vena said to the other two, "That way we can check more of the territory.
Siofra and Noll laughed but they did split up. Noll walked east and Siofra went south. Vena stayed put, however. She looked up into the tree above the cottage. She sensed that she was being watched. She quickly scaled the tree and stood face to face with two female elves. "Who are you," She asked on the defensive.

Noll had gone almost to the edge of the territory. He could sense someone or someones nearby. He followed his sense until the ping was strong. He peeked through a bush at two male elves sitting just outside of his coven's territory. He watched them to see if they would cross the border.

Siofra had wandered for a ways finding nothing. There was nothing around her for yards.

Elwyn and Aubrie were enjoying their time alone. They let all of the worries of leading a coven dissipate in each other's bodies.

"Kriana"Kriana replied, jumping down from the tree, landing in the ground gracefully
"and Miyako"Miyako replied, landing beside Kriana

Gabriel sensed someone watching them and he called"you can come out you know. And we aren't going to cross the border without permission"he then stood up but as he did he suddenly went pale and stumbled
Jaque caught Gabriel"see. i knew you weren't alright!"he sighed

Vena jumped down as well. She looked the two over. "Do you realize that you are standing on private territory," she asked.

Noll stepped out from behind the bush and made his way over to the border line. He let his gaze travel over the two figures. His curiousity made him ask himself why the one was so disheveled. "Why do you sit there, just out of the territory. If you are trying to attack then you need a new stratehy and a new body," Noll said.

"no we didn't know until just before you all came out"Miyako replied
"i'm sorry. We will go if we aren't allowed here."Kriana said

"we aren't planning to attack!"Jaque replied angrily"we stopped here because we realise it was a private territory just a couple meters away!"
"Jaque.."Gabriel said weakly"don't.."

Vena looked at the girls cloesly. They didn't appear to be a threat. "Just make sure you have permission to be here or you be hurt," she said to them softly, "And I give you my permission, so long as you don't become a threat."

Noll sighed. He didn't want to be wrapped up in these strangers if a threat was there. But, he couldn't just walk away when the one was in the appearance of being injured. "What happened to you," he asked.

"just a few days ago we were in an all out war with some other elves. We just managed to make it out without any serious injuries. But ever since the war Gabriel's body had gtten weaker."Jaque replied

"thank you!"Kriana said
Miyako smiled in thanks then asked"who's the leader of the coven?"

Vena smiled. "That would be Elwyn," she replied, "He is the husband of Aubrie, my dearest of friends." Her golden hair fell into her face and she removed it with her hand.

Noll held his hand to his temple, he searched his mind for a possible cause for the oddness that Jaque had described. He found nothing in his recollection. "Hmm," he murmered to himslef, then to the other two he said," That is very strange. Was he hit with something that may have been poisoned?"

Siofra had changed directions and was now headed west. She slowed when she caught sight of a male elf. He was younger than she and seemed almost lost. "Hey, you," she called to him.

Kriana smiled"it's nice to have friends.."she said softly"Miyako and I only have eachother."
Miyako looked at Kriana, why did she have to tell everything?

Jaque thought for a moment"wait.. He did get hit with something but i didn't see what.."

Kain heard someone and looked around when he caught sight of a female elf"yes...?"he asked

"Oh," Vena said softly. She had never felt the lonliness others around her had. She didn't know how to feel about these types of situations. "I suppose," she started, "that I could be your friend."

Noll focused on Gabriel. "Do you know what it was that struck you," he asked him as he stepped closer and over the border.

Siofra moved closer to the elf. She was a war maker not a peace keeper and had no problem taking him out before he knew what was happening. "Who are you and what are you doing," she snarled at him.

"thank you!"Kriana said and smiled"we'd really like that!"

"no. i didn't see what it was"Gabriel replied weakly

"hm?"Kain asked"i'm Kain. And i don't know what i'm doing."he said honestly, blinking.

Vena grinned. She engulfed Kriana and Miyako in a big hug. She looked at the cottage as Elwyn stepped out of it. "This," she said, "is Elwyn, my leader."
"Hello," Elwyn said slightly dazed, "And who are you?"

Noll sighed in frustration. He paced momentarily. Then he stopped abruptly. "Come back with me," he said, "Aubrie may be able to help you."

Siofra let her hand strike her forehead. "You don't know what your doing," she stated more than asked. She nearly broke into laughter at the blank statement he had given her. This Kain had amused her and made her forget about his destruction for a minute.

Kriana looked at Elwyn"I'm Kriana"she said with a smiled"and this is my twin, Miyako"
"hiya!"Miyako said and smiled

"okAy.."Jaque and Gabriel said. Jaque then put one of Gabriel's arm around his shoulders so he could help him walk.

Kain tilted his head to the side, confused..what was so funny?...then again no one ever did call him smart...he always had been dense and an airhead..

"Hello," Elwyn smiled. He looked the two girls over with his detail detecting eyes. He thought that they looked like no harm to his coven. He gave them a short happy wave.

Noll came up to Gabriel's other side and did the same that Jaque had done. He led them slowly through the forest back to Elwyn and Aubrie's cottage. When they reached it he stopped seeing Elwyn and Vena with two strangers. "What the," he asked.

Siofra smother a few giggles with her hand. "Why are you wandering in these woods," she asked with her hand still over her mouth to hide her giant smile.

Kriana smiled then glanced at Miyako. for once she seemed comfortable with these elves. maybe thwey were all right.

Jaque stopped dead n his tracks as he saw the two twins"it's you two."he said, glaring at them"why are you two here?"

Kriana turned to glare at Jaque"we have been given permission to stay. So you should just be quiet."
"i see that Gabriel is still alive."Miyako said"what a shame. He's lucky he wasn't hit with the full blow of my attack. or he would have died right on the spot."she sighed softly.

Jaque gritted his teeth.


Kain thought for a moment"i don't know. I was just walking randomly.."

Elwyn, Vena, and Noll gave each other confused looks. "You know these people," Vena asked the twins.

Noll left Gabriel's side to stand in front of him. "What have you done to him," Noll snarled at Miyako.

Aubrie stepped outside of the cottage and took in the standoff in front of her. "What is going on," she asked.


Siofra laughed out loud this time. She was completely amused by this baffling elf. "Just wandering around a strange territory like you were going for a walk," she asked stifling her laughter.

"yes. It may not seem so but it was an army of elves against the two of us. Gabriel and Jaque just managed to survive. But it doesn't look like Gabriel has long to live."Kriana replied

Miyako looked at Noll and shrugged"they declared the war they should be ready for death"she said coldly
"miyako don't push it."Kriana warned

"i still don't understand how only you two can go up against hundreds of other elves by yourselves."Jaque muttered


Kain watched Siofra and nodded"that's right...i guess."he replied

The air became tense. Elwyn and Aubrie became frigid.
"Why would an army of elves declare war agaisnt the two of you," Noll growled at the twins. He looked at Aubrie. "Will you please care for Gabriel," he pleaded with her.
"Yes," Aubrie said. She motioned for Jaque to bring Gabriel inside the cottage.
Vena looked at her new friends. "Did you really injure him so badly," she asked Miyako. She had always been to soft hearted for things like death and war.

"Come here," Siofra said to Kain, "I wish for you to continue humoring me." She smiled at him.

Kriana and Miyako sighed heavily"it's only because Gabriel and Jaque's coven had hundreds of elves in it and then Miyako and I had our own land right next to there's..and they wanted it for themselves. Little did they know that we've already been in massive wars against other covens and never lost. They declared war and this is ow it turned out."Kriana said sighing again
"oh yeah. that poison isn't one that others know about. it's one i made up myself. So it's pointless trying to heal him."Miyako said"good thing is only Kriana and I are immune to it"she shrugged

Jaque glared at Miyako and stopped walking"can it be cured?"he asked
"of course it can"Miyako replied


Kain walked up to Siofra"humor you? how?"he asked

"How can we obtain the antidote," Noll asked moving towards the girls. He stood right in Miyako's face. "Tell me."

Siofra laughed. "You can humor me by continuing on in your scattered banter," she said pulling him along as she began to continue her patrol.

"why should i?"Miyako asked stepping away"it's his fault!"
"Miyako just tell them"Kriana said
"no!"Miyako said
"i'm sorry... but i can see why. Gabriel and Jaque were the ones who killed our parents when we were young."Kriana said but there was no sadness in her voice but it was shown in Miyako's and her face

Jaque grunted


Kain tiled his head"what do you mean?"he asked...scattered banter? when and how was he doing that?

Jaque glared at Miyako

Noll scrunched his nose. "How do you know that it was them who killed you parents," he demanded. He paced back and forth in front of Miyako. Then he got into her face again. "Give me the antidoe."

Siofra luaghed. "You seem so disoreinted and confused," she said, "That amuses me greatly. Please, continue talking." She smiled at him.

"because we saw it with our two eyes you f*cking creep!"Miyako snarled. by then tears were rolling down her face.. she then turned and around and stormed off

Kriana looked between the coven and her twin"i'm sorry!"she said then ran after her twin sister.



"disorientated and confused...?"Kain asked, wandering of like he didn't know what that meant.

Vena looked around at the coven and the strangers. She chased after the twins calling their names.

Noll turned towards Gabriel and Jaque. "I am sorry I could not get them to give us the antidote," he said.
Elwyn looked at his wife. "Couldn't you at least make his condition more stable," he asked her.
"I could try," she said, "Follow me."

Siofra laughed, "Oh dear, please continue." She felt giddy and like the feeling.
