Kaedas Enters A New Land

Silhouetted against the burning, orange sky as a fiery dusk fell across the world, a lone figure stood at the cliff's edge, elegant and proud. The world before this figure was set alight by the grasping tendrils of sunset colours, blazing reds and blinding golds streaked across the stretching fields, tinging delicate greens with the intensity of fire. The Night Horse sighed gently to herself, listening as the sound was swept away with the breeze and carried higher into the sky, lost forever. Her blood coloured coat shone with a violent radiance, as though she had only just emerged from a pool of the scarlet liquid. But she wore the attributes of a bay, her black legs deepening the colours dancing across her body. The slimly built beast lifted her head to the ingited sky, whipping out her long wings as though embracing the scene before her. From between her vicious fangs erupted a shrieking, gutteral and rumbling roar that rampaged through the air and tore apart the fragile silence, its echoes thrown far across this new land. The arrival of Kaedas had been announced and her presence cast upon all that had heard her booming call.
