La Licorne and Vine

La Licorne entered Green Paradise freely. She had heard about this place, and all the rumours were true. It was gorgeous!

Vine followed her, still sighlent from the whole walk. He nudged La Licornes shoulder "where are we?" he asked slowly.

La Licorne had heards those words before, but put together differently from Vine. He had spoke something like 'Where are we going?' But know he asked 'Where are we?' and blankly cut of the rest....She slowly began to understand. "Green paradise." She replied in her strong Frence, UK-like accent. It had originated from a while back, when her ansestors were breed by humans, they were treated like royalty, and where famous over that part of country.

Vine walked on beside her, nipped her shoulder and took off at full speed ahead saying "ARRRRR".

La Licorne just blinked, stunned as the horse just shot off screaming. She snorted franticaly before taking off after him, though a much more graceful stride. Her tail and head and tail was held high and proud as she galloped after Vine with a smile at her maw. She was beguinning to like this stallion.

Vine picked up his pace, laughing while he was. He bucked out playfully then pigrooted straight after. He saw a little lake up ahead, he neighed out to La Licorne and kept going.

La Licorne followed him elegantly continueously picking up the pace. Eventually she reached his side, strutting a gallop like she was the most important thing to thunder over the earth. She giggled.

Vine looked at her as she reached his side, he threw in all his efort to pass her but only got alittle bit past. He laughed as he heard her giggle.

La Licorne heard his warm laugh overpower her giggle and just rolled her eyes. She suddenly skidded to a halt as the land seemed to crumbling underneath her hooves, and splashed against the contact of water.

Vine stopped infront of La Licorne, he troted back to her side. He playfully nudged her but didnt run he stood there by her side. He lowered his head to the cool water and started to drink felling the cold water go down his throat.

La Licorne jumped away from his touch, leaping into the cool water. A screaming whinny was heard over the splash as her body made contact with the lake. Water overflowed her body, and she rose her head above the water-line.

Vine jumped in after her, splashing her as he went. He laughed as the water showered over her. He swam around and splashed about playfully. Trying to show off infront of La Licorne.

The mare watched him, so he wanted to play it that way huh? She whickered and gallently strode away, swimming gracefully. She quickly glanced behind her to tease him.

Vine followed La Licorne wondering what she was up to. He nickered out to her with wonder in his voice. He swam to the edge of the lake putting both front legs on the edge pulling himself out. Once he was he shook off making drops of water fly everywhere.

La Licorne just continued to swim through the river like he wasn't even in excistence. She snoretd softly before bobbing her head.

Vine nickered out to La Licorne, he stood at the edge of the water nodding his head up and down making his mane fly everywhere. He lowered his head to the water and flicked it at La Licorne.

La Licorne giggled, he was ganna have to try harder then that to gain her attention. She flicked her wet tail then took off through the streaming water. She gently whickered as her hooves made contact with the lakes flat surface.

Vine trotted along the river bank following La Licorne wondering where she was going. He nickered out to her questionaly. He threw his head up and down making his mane fling everywhere.

La Licorne just started to realize their was a strong current straining at her lean legs. The typical mare just gave a roll of her pools and continued to swim through the deepening lake, but it was a rather large lake. Her hooves guided her along the uncomfortable pebbles slowly faded to a smooth sand, which tickled the underside of her hooves. She continued on, not a worry in the world as she grew farther away from the stallion.

Vine started to canter. He picked up his pace to a gallop as La Licorne went faster and faster. He let out a urgent neigh to her, he wondered if she was in trouble or not.

Ground lowered, and control was lost.
Sand seemed to slip from underneath her, and suddenly the mare was flowing forward, too fast for comfort.
She squeled in disagrement of the waves and tried to turn, to face the current head on, but no avail.
Suddenly everything about this lake layed out along her fretting brain, this wasn't a lake, it was a river.
